Manager Learning 38 Development - IDA

The incumbent will lead a team of two and work with the Senior Manager to enhance and manage IDA’s competency development framework, professional learning & organisation development programmes, so as to develop the right talent for IDA.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Professional Development Framework & Policies

  • Review and improve the existing professional competency development framework which describes expected competencies required of roles across different career paths and tracks, organisation units and career bands
  • Centrally manage professional learning development policies
  • Review the effectiveness and relevance of existing learning solutions and policies & recommend actions to be taken

Professional & Personal Development Programmes

 

  • Work with line managers to design curriculums and structure development programmes for professional development to enhance staff professional performance and potential in delivering business outcomes
  • Create and communicate organisation-wide core competency programmes based on solution-focused learning using multiple learning modes
  • Manage existing organisational intervention programmes for personal development and support
  • Work with the Deputy Director and Senior Manager to create a new range of agile learning solutions
  • Manage and facilitate orientation programmes

Learning Administration & Systems

  • Oversee Learning Systems & Administration

Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferably with HRD certification
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in HQ HRD, excluding stand up delivery
  • Experience with competency development, learning & organisation development and learning systems preferred
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Good communication skills and able to work in a matrix team
  • Good understanding of ICT industry
