Administrative Assistant Part Time - United Hebrew Congregation (Singapore)

Description:

  • Reporting to the President/Treasurer
  • Maintain UHC calendar of events, including personal calendar of operation staff
  • Assist in planning of events: project management, RSVPs, data gathering, and reporting
  • Collect and enter membership data
  • Collect and manage events data, process documentation, and best practice guidelines for training staff and volunteers
  • Handle accounts and accounting processes, including banking accounts management
  • Handle postal mailbox, operations email, and other digital communications, such as website and newsletter
  • Handle asset purchases and other vendor-related operations
  • Create membership, financial, and other reports

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a keen learner who is adaptable and able to work with minimum supervision; a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must Have:
    • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
    • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
    • Cheerful and pleasant disposition
    • Proficiency in Quicken
    • Ability to work from home and work in the am
    • Excellent writing skills
  • Nice to have:
    • Proficiency in MS Access
    • Proficiency in Website/POP server administration
    • Proficiency in Newsletter management (e.g. mailchimp)
